After years working as the creative director of an after school art and drama program, Andrea Krakovsky discovered that Atlanta parents were searching for a new caliber of childcare. She started Sittersphere in June of 2014, as a way to connect the families she loved with creative, experienced, and reliable babysitters. Andrea has also worked as a nanny and babysitter herself for many years, and is deeply invested in the partnership between parent and sitter. Sittersphere is her vision of a community driven service that aligns with today’s parents.
Alexandra has been working with children for over 10 years as a mothers helper, nanny, babysitter, camp counselor and everything in between! A recent graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Alexandra has a BFA in Film & TV Production with a minor in Gender Studies. When not engaging with children you can find her on set, directing and shooting videos. Her large imagination and dedication to nurturing creativity makes her a perfect fit for your family!
Atlanta native Annie Lockwood has a twelve year history of childcare as a tutor, nanny, baby-sitter, Sunday school teacher, and counselor. Annie has a bachelors in Journalism and Film Production from Samford University. She is a legal assistant and stand up comic that can balance being playful and educational. There is nothing more important to her than allowing children to use their imaginations and play without the aid of screens. Her expertise is with children with life threatening food allergies and asthma. Annie's looks forward to playing pretend movie studio, writing stories, and learning with your family!
Arielle Klebanoff is a graduate student at Georgia State University, pursuing her master's degree in Creative and Innovative Education. Arielle has almost ten years of child care experience, having worked as a nanny, camp counselor, and, most recently, directing a five day-a-week afterschool program with 40 students. Arielle feels privileged to work with children, especially to help them identify their passion and build self-confidence. Whether baking, conducting science experiments, solving scavenger hunts, or starting impromptu dance parties, Arielle is excited to create fun, joyful experiences for your kids. In her free time, Arielle loves stand-up comedy, running outside, and live music. Arielle received her degree in Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University.
Briana Bergstrom is imaginative, calm, and patient. She graduated from Agnes Scott College with a BA in English Lit and got her Master's of Education in Early Childhood Education from GSU. She has been working with children for the past ten years, first as a babysitter, then a nanny, and currently she teaches fourth grade. She has experience with infants up through teens. Briana enjoys engaging children in imaginative play that fosters their curiosity and wonder, which really means she likes to make up stories or adventures, read, sing, make crafts, and explore the outdoors. She is excited to work with your family!
Carrie Anne Hunt graduated from Winthrop University with her B.A. in Theatre and Dance. A kid at heart, she loves to bring her creativity into everything she does. Carrie Anne is a lover of tea parties and imaginative play. She has always had a passion for working with children, and has been doing so for the past 10 years through babysitting, nannying, and teaching . When she's not making silly faces with kid crowd you can find her acting, writing, and producing for television and film. Carrie Anne is delighted to bring her fun energy to your home.
Charlotte Stein has enjoyed being a nanny for years. In addition to her experience babysitting and nannying, she has also served as head counselor and director of many children's programs at various YMCAs. She was an award winning lead swim coach for children ranging from infants to teenagers whilst getting her BA in Sports Medicine with a focus on Pediatric Health. This past summer, Charlotte was a camp counselor and coordinator for CampFlix, a summer camp that teaches children about filmmaking. Charlotte loves helping children get creative, and can't wait to meet your family!
Corbynne White has been learning and working with children for the past seven years. After gaining 4 years of experience babysitting throughout her college years, her love for children and passion for service encouraged her to pursue full-time nannying. She has a B.S. in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University and enjoys incorporating her love of physical activity and movement into her work. She also loves arts and crafts, baking, reading, and board games with children. Her personal hobbies include running, traveling, and trying new foods.
Danya Maloon is a long-time educator who has worked with students ranging from preschool through college. Though she has taught high school, Danya's primary passion is working with small children, and she is currently the lead twos and threes teacher at an Atlanta -area Reggio-inspired preschool. Danya holds Masters Degrees in Child Development and English Education from The University of Chicago and Brown University respectively. When not teaching, Danya likes to hang out with her husband Nathan, a pop culture writer, their two-year old son, and their irascible dog, Ghost Face.
Elizabeth Johnson is a babysitter, teacher, and mother of two! (She's pretty much seen it all.) She graduated from Georgia Tech, and received her Masters of Education from Georgia State University. Elizabeth worked as a professional nanny for 3 years, spending a portion of that time homeschooling her nanny family. Elizabeth taught Middle School Math for 5 years, and loved it! Now she now teaches online for the Georgia Department of Education specializing in middle and high school Math and Social Studies. She's happy to help with homework anytime!
Ella Padawer is a senior at Georgia State University pursuing her Bachelor's degree in vocal performance. She has served as both a Hebrew teacher and site director for a local Hebrew school for over a year. In addition to teaching, Ella has spent years babysitting, volunteering at a camp for underprivileged kids, and working with kids of all backgrounds. She loves channeling her own passion for music and the arts into her work with kids, and helping them develop their own artistic vision. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, attending open mic shows, and hiking.
Grace Thornton graduated from Oglethorpe University with a degree in English Literature and Studio Art. She takes a keen interest in story, structured play, and inventing language. After college, working with infants through 4 year olds and as a Lead Teacher has taught her skills in language-building and gestural expression. Children, as natural storytellers, explorers, and artists, help her to further investigate these experiences. She adores kids' abilities to create games that navigate the world with a sense of fun and adventure. She wants to share her knowledge of poetry, dance, comedy, and improvisation with kids and is particularly interested in fostering their verbal and physical communication skills.
Hannah Church is creativity personified. She has a BFA in Musical Theater Performance, and loves playing make believe and keeping imaginative play alive. She is currently a teaching artist at the Alliance Theater where she teaches children's drama classes. She's worked with all ages for countless Atlanta families as a babysitter, nanny, mother's helper, and everything in between! She's also spent time tumbling and twirling as a gymnastics teacher for Jump Start Gymnastics. Hannah prioritizes time away from screens, and loves to engage in cooking, reading, singing, dancing, and taking time to be silly!
Jacqueline graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2014 and earned her graduate certificate in publishing from NYU in 2015. In 2011, she started her first official job working with children as an after-school arts and crafts teacher at Macedonia Elementary. Since then, she's taught ceramics at YMCA Camp Thunderbird in South Carolina, given ESL lessons to children from South Korea, taught art at two different Montessori schools, and eventually went on to teach high school English in Chicago. When she's not dabbling in finger paint or doodling on construction paper, she can be found reading Harry Potter aloud in animated voices.
Kasey Price is an Atlanta, Georgia native with an insatiable wanderlust, an adventurous spirit and over 20 years of childcare experience ranging from equestrian camp counselor and daycare teacher to high-profile nanny for bands, actors and professional athletes. She has held live-in nanny and personal assistant jobs for clients in Wisconsin, Texas and North Carolina and also worked with several families in New York during her six year stint there as a music publicist. One of her favorite experiences in life has been accompanying the special needs children from the therapeutic riding school she volunteers with to the Special Olympics. She has been a tour nanny with a husband/wife duo and their two children, finding the best playgrounds in New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Brussels, Lucerne, Barcelona, Madrid, A Coruna and San Sebastian. When she's not riding in the backseat of a van, she can be found riding horses, surf boards, dirt bikes and mechanical bulls.
Kim Siew graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She has over six years of experience working with children as a babysitter, tutor, and after-school care counselor. She has worked with children of all ages, and also has experience working with children with special needs. Kim enjoys creating comfortable and safe spaces where children can feel free to express their imagination, creativity and personality. Laura is currently a Content Coordinator for CNN. She has been working with children for over eight years, mainly as a babysitter. In college, Laura also volunteered as an after school tutor. She tutored English and Math for students ranging from 7-10 years old. She has experience with all age ranges and loves playing board games and playing outside. Laura enjoys visiting the High Museum, running 5ks, and practicing yoga. She is so excited to meet your family.
Leah is an energetic babysitter, nanny, tutor and coach with 20 years of experience. She always knew she wanted to work with children from a young age and began babysitting and working as a camp counselor during high school. While in college at Elon University getting a degree in elementary education, she was a site-director at the Burlington YMCA. After receiving her degree in education, she was a teacher in the metro-Atlanta area for 8 years with experience ranging from pre-K-5th grade. After leaving the classroom, Leah went on to become a nanny, tutor and sports coach and youth director. When not busy with children, she likes to hike, kayak, dance, play soccer and watch the Yankees win.
Maya Wiseman has been a a nanny for over four years, and is currently earning a degree in Anthropology at Georgia Perimeter College. Maya is a passionate environmentalist whose ultimate goal is to facilitate CHILDRENS connections to natural resources. With nature as her playground, Maya is currently developing an environmental after school program for elementary school students. McKenzie Taylor is currently a Marketing major at Georgia State University. She has been working with children for over six years, mainly as a babysitter for intown families. McKenzie also has experience being a Nursery Attendant at Epworth United Methodist Church. She has experience with all age groups, ranging from newborns to teenagers. Her favorite activities to do with children include arts and crafts, reading books, and playing board games. Meg has had a passion for working with children since her early teen years in high school. She has over 10 years of experience working as a babysitter, character education mentor, after school tutor, and youth dance instructor. While attending college at Northwestern University, Meg worked as a summer nanny and tutor for America Reads, before graduating with degrees in dance and international relations. Upon moving back to Atlanta, Meg pursued her love of dancing as a member of several Atlanta dance companies. She began sharing her experience in the performing arts through teaching dance to children. For two years, she was the director of dance at Pace Academy and choreographer for children's musicals and dance concerts. Currently, Meg is performing with a contemporary ballet company, is the artistic director of a non-profit performance group, and is the owner of a dance studio in Atlanta. When she is not dancing or teaching, Meg enjoys camping and hiking, learning new cooking skills, and spending time with her 3 dogs.
Mia Fantaci is a filmmaker and film educator from New York City with over ten years of childcare experience. She gained valuable insight by working with the special needs population during her time as a teacher at The Quad Manhattan, a NYC program for Twice Exceptional Students. She also has experience working with special needs children on a one-on-one level as a tutor and nanny. As a film educator, Mia started working with New York Film Academy's Film and Acting programs for Teens and Tweens as a Program Director and Teacher before moving to Atlanta. Last summer she was the Camp Director for Camp Flix, a filmmaking camp for middle and high schoolers. Mia is passionate about creating fun and educational activities for the children in her care.
Murphy Mason is an actress in the greater Atlanta area who has years of experience as both a nanny and a sitter with children of all ages. Nicole is currently working on her Master's in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Brenau University. She has worked as a babysitter for the past four years while at Agnes Scott College. Nicole is a big believer in positive reinforcement, and encourages discussion and open communication. She takes an interactive approach to working with kids by encouraging and participating in healthy activities such as reading, drawing, and building together. One of Nicole's most insightful experiences was working as a clinician for the learning center, Lindamood-Bell. During that time she gained a hands-on training in working with kids that have learning and intellectual disabilities. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys reading a good book, completing a page out of a coloring book, and writing. She is excited about meeting your family!
An Atlanta native, Quinn Mabry is best known for their love of outdoor adventures and a passion for teaching. Bringing many years of childcare experience as a family-oriented sitter and camp counselor, Quinn's approach to childcare centers on educational play. From practicing fractions while baking an afternoon snack or learning about plants in the garden, Quinn is passionate about bringing curiosity into every moment. A lifelong learner, Quinn is a graduate of Agnes Scott College (Bachelor of Arts) and Georgia State University (Master of Arts in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies). When they're not hanging around town, Quinn is off adventuring in Appalachia, going for jogs around Decatur, or curled up with a good book and their cat, Misha.
Rebecca has a BA in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a Master's in Marriage and Family from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is currently a preschool teacher in Atlanta and has 20 years of combined childcare experience as both a nanny and teacher. Prior to becoming a preschool teacher, Ms. Rebecca spent several years as a child and family services social worker and homeschool teacher where she found her passion to teach and work with young students. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, trying new restaurants and spending time with her three children.
Samantha is a professional childcare giver with a diverse background. She graduated from the University of Central Florida, with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, and has worked with children for over 10 years. Being a former gymnast and current competitive coach, Samantha is active and able to keep up with your children. She encourages outside time and arts and crafts, instead of technology or screen time. She has had experience with infants up through high schoolers, families of twins and triplets, high allergy needs, and even traveled full time as a nanny to a celebrity family in the Georgia area. When not babysitting, she is researching new recipes, reading a new book, or spending time outside with her family.
