After years working as the creative director of an after school art and drama program, Andrea Krakovsky discovered that Atlanta parents were searching for a new caliber of childcare. She started Sittersphere in June of 2014, as a way to connect the families she loved with creative, experienced, and reliable babysitters. Andrea has also worked as a nanny and babysitter herself for many years, and is deeply invested in the partnership between parent and sitter. Sittersphere is her vision of a community driven service that aligns with today‚Äôs parents.
Katie Lipsiner has been working with children professionally for nine years. Her experience ranges from babysitting, camp counseling (day and overnight camps) and she is currently a lead teacher at Jewish Kids Groups Afterschool in the lovely area of Morningside! Katie has a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication alongside a minor in digital media from Georgia College. She loves bringing in her communications + art background in her work with children; it just makes it all that more fun!
Alexandra has been working with children for over 10 years as a mothers helper, nanny, babysitter, camp counselor and everything in between! A recent graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Alexandra has a BFA in Film & TV Production with a minor in Gender Studies. When not engaging with children you can find her on set, directing and shooting videos. Her large imagination and dedication to nurturing creativity makes her a perfect fit for your family!
Andre graduated from Agnes Scott College in 2018 with Bachelor's in Public Health and currently has ventured into the non-profit and community organizing world. They are passionate about all things related to social justice, intersectional feminism and health equity and plan to pursue a Master's in Public Policy at GSU in the near future. Andre has been working in childcare for the past three years with children of all ages and abilities. They have also done mentoring and tutoring work in a variety of school and non-profit settings, both here and in Spain, for about two years for both children and adults. There's nothing they love more than seeing others be able to blossom into who they are and are always meant to be and are passionate about providing to tools necessary for others to reach their full potential of possibilities.
Atlanta native Annie Lockwood has a twelve year history of childcare as a tutor, nanny, baby-sitter, Sunday school teacher, and counselor. Annie has a bachelors in Journalism and Film Production from Samford University. She is a legal assistant and stand up comic that can balance being playful and educational. There is nothing more important to her than allowing children to use their imaginations and play without the aid of screens. Her expertise is with children with life threatening food allergies and asthma. Annie's looks forward to playing pretend movie studio, writing stories, and learning with your family!
Briana is imaginative, calm, and patient. She graduated from Agnes Scott College with a BA in English Lit and got her Master's of Education in Early Childhood Education from GSU. She has been working with children for the past ten years, first as a babysitter, then a nanny, and currently she teaches third grade. She has experience with infants up through teens. Briana enjoys engaging children in imaginative play that fosters their curiosity and wonder, which really means she likes to make up stories or adventures, read, sing, make crafts, and explore the outdoors. She is excited to work with your family!
Carrie Anne Hunt graduated from Winthrop University with her B.A. in Theatre and Dance. A kid at heart, she loves to bring her creativity into everything she does. Carrie Anne is a lover of tea parties and imaginative play. She has always had a passion for working with children, and has been doing so for the past 10 years through babysitting, nannying, and teaching . When she's not making silly faces with kid crowd you can find her acting, writing, and producing for television and film. Carrie Anne is delighted to bring her fun energy to your home.
Charlotte Stein has enjoyed being a nanny for years. In addition to her experience babysitting and nannying, she has also served as head counselor and director of many children's programs at various YMCAs. She was an award winning lead swim coach for children ranging from infants to teenagers whilst getting her BA in Sports Medicine with a focus on Pediatric Health. This past summer, Charlotte was a camp counselor and coordinator for CampFlix, a summer camp that teaches children about filmmaking. Charlotte loves helping children get creative, and can't wait to meet your family!
Chelsea is a native Floridian who's currently enjoying her new life in Atlanta! She has a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television and has been working in the film industry for four years. Throughout her time in grade school and college, Chelsea was a long-time babysitter for many families and still misses them to this very day! When she's not on set, she likes to spend her spare time taking care of little ones. She knows it's extremely important to play with children and allow them to use their growing imaginations, rather than place them in front of a screen for hours on end. Chelsea is a former camp counselor and church childcare attendant, and believes these experiences have made her an even better babysitter! She enjoys healthy eating, reading, and her little family (her husband Vincent and puppy Chewie.) She's looking forward to meeting your family and taking care of your little loved ones!
Chiara moved to her adoptive home of Atlanta four years ago to work in the Set Decoration and Art Departments of the local film industry after graduating with a BFA for Production Design in Film at the North Carolina School of the Arts. Before finishing there, she studied Theater at Fordham University and UNC Greensboro. Throughout it all (and even before) she was working with kids. Sheís enjoyed her years as babysitter, camp counselor, and drama teacher (for the city of Greensboro, NC). Chiara currently studies Copywriting for Advertising at the Creative Circus (A Portfolio School) but before she decided to return to school she spent six months as the keyholder at Treehouse Kid and Craft in Decatur. Chiara grew up a student of all of the arts and brings that to all of the kids she watches. She is always game for coloring, mini dance parties, silly voices, and sing-a-longs! (that classical voice training goes a long way) When Chiara is not doing schoolwork she is exercising or spending time with friends specifically enjoying working on art projects together, going for coffee, and just watching a great show or film. Chiara will patiently answer all kiddo questions, (why do owls turn their heads like that? She probably wants to know the answer too!) prepare food, loves animals, and has an elementary proficiency of Portuguese and is happy to help with romance language learning. Chiaraís favorite game when she was little was dress-up/make-believe.
Dane O?Neil works in company culture and operations at Kenzie Lane, an Atlanta-based start-up incubator funded by Cox Enterprises. She has over fifteen years of babysitting and childcare experience, and adores children. In addition to babysitting, her experience with children includes instructing dance classes, providing childcare at a fitness center and mentoring elementary students at Atlanta Youth Academy. When caring for children, Dane is skilled in engaging children in ways that best promote the family?s goals, whether it?s limiting television time, academic tutoring or encouraging at-home responsibilities. When she isn?t at the office, you can find her taking an exercise class, with a book, a long list of errands, discovering a new part of Atlanta or diving into a new hobby.
Gabby hails from the swamps of South Florida, and has been living in Atlanta for two years. She studies improv and acting to fuel her acting career, and she also runs a successful stand-up comedy show in Atlantic Station. Gabby spent several years as a nanny, and worked for the City of Aventura as a summer camp counselor where she looked after 40 children at a time. Gabby loves cooking and baking with organic and locally sourced ingredients, and practices yoga/stretching exercises on a daily basis. She hopes to lead by example to promote healthy lifestyle choices to children.
Grace Thornton graduated from Oglethorpe University with a degree in English Literature and Studio Art. She takes a keen interest in story, structured play, and inventing language. After college, working with infants through 4 year olds and as a Lead Teacher has taught her skills in language-building and gestural expression. Children, as natural storytellers, explorers, and artists, help her to further investigate these experiences. She adores kids' abilities to create games that navigate the world with a sense of fun and adventure. She wants to share her knowledge of poetry, dance, comedy, and improvisation with kids and is particularly interested in fostering their verbal and physical communication skills.
Hannah Church is creativity personified. She has a BFA in Musical Theater Performance, and loves playing make believe and keeping imaginative play alive. She is currently a teaching artist at the Alliance Theater where she teaches children's drama classes. She's worked with all ages for countless Atlanta families as a babysitter, nanny, mother's helper, and everything in between! She's also spent time tumbling and twirling as a gymnastics teacher for Jump Start Gymnastics. Hannah prioritizes time away from screens, and loves to engage in cooking, reading, singing, dancing, and taking time to be silly!
Jacqueline graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2014 and earned her graduate certificate in publishing from NYU in 2015. In 2011, she started her first official job working with children as an after-school arts and crafts teacher at Macedonia Elementary. Since then, she's taught ceramics at YMCA Camp Thunderbird in South Carolina, given ESL lessons to children from South Korea, taught art at two different Montessori schools, and eventually went on to teach high school English in Chicago. When she's not dabbling in finger paint or doodling on construction paper, she can be found reading Harry Potter aloud in animated voices.
Laura Bennett is a rising senior at Emory University. She is majoring in Public Health and expects to minor in Community Building and Social Change. Laura grew up in Gainesville, Florida spending most of her time helping in her motherís early learning preschool center. Through those experiences, she has learned the importance of tender love and care, positivity, and genuine respect for each child. As a college student, she has continued working with children both as a volunteer in an elementary school and as a babysitter. Her passion for early childhood development led her to a competitive internship with GEEARS (Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students) where she spent a summer advocating for high quality early learning centers as well as facilitating childrenís events for DeKalb county. Laura is excited to continue learning from and with children in the Atlanta area and canít wait to meet yours!
Leah grew up in New York and has been living in Atlanta since July. She studied Neuroscience and Anthropology at Vassar College in New York and is currently working as a research assistant at the Atlanta Veterans Hospital studying Women?s Resiliency. After graduating college, she volunteered in an eco-friendly community and taught English to elementary school children in Northern Israel. She also volunteered at a ceramics workshop with people with special needs. Leah spent several summers lifeguarding and teaching swimming at a day camp, and babysat throughout high school and college. Leah loves hiking, cooking, gardening, water color painting, zumba, French, writing music.
Lizzie Hull has twelve years of experience watching and caring for children. She started with watching her baby sister, and neighbors? kids; and she is now a full time mom to her two toddlers. Lizzie has three years of college under her belt, where she majored in Theatre Tech. Lizzie is an aspiring filmmaker, with a love for storytelling and getting lost in imagination land. Her experience as a mom, and as an older sister, has given her an astute sense of when it?s time to play, and when it?s time to calm down. She is excited to work with your family!
Maya Wiseman has been a a nanny for over four years, and is currently earning a degree in Anthropology at Georgia Perimeter College. Maya is a passionate environmentalist whose ultimate goal is to facilitate CHILDRENS connections to natural resources. With nature as her playground, Maya is currently developing an environmental after school program for elementary school students. She enjoys imaginative play, getting creative, imaginative play, and of course spending time outdoors. Maya has experience working with all ages, and is dedicated to leaving your home (and the earth!) clean as it can be.
Mia Fantaci is a filmmaker and film educator from New York City with over ten years of childcare experience. She gained valuable insight by working with the special needs population during her time as a teacher at The Quad Manhattan, a NYC program for Twice Exceptional Students. She also has experience working with special needs children on a one-on-one level as a tutor and nanny. As a film educator, Mia started working with New York Film Academy's Film and Acting programs for Teens and Tweens as a Program Director and Teacher before moving to Atlanta. Last summer she was the Camp Director for Camp Flix, a filmmaking camp for middle and high schoolers. Mia is passionate about creating fun and educational activities for the children in her care.
Michelle Alba is an arts integration educator hailing from Chicago with nearly two decades of experience with children. She received her BFA in Art Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to caring for children from infants to teens, Michelle has helped young people pursue their creative curiosities both in the classroom and out in the world. From teaching drawing, painting, photography, writing, theater, digital media, and even ukulele to leading and counseling Summer Arts Camps at the Old Town School of Folk Music to performing with the educational theater company Barrel of Monkeys, Michelle has brought playful engagement to those she has had the privilege of working with. Michelle also enjoys bike rides, jokes, thoughtful conversation, dancing like crazy, making puns that make her wife groan, story podcasts, playgrounds, strumming her ukulele and learning piano.
As a graduate of Eckerd College, Molly Hurd has a duel Bachelorís degree in Psychology and Visual Arts. She had spent the last seven years as a lead counselor and Arts Program Leader at Camp Gwynn Valley. Most recently, Molly has served as a long term substitute art teacher for both Pace Academy and Westminster School. In addition to her time spent as a counselor and teacher, Molly has also been a beloved nanny and babysitter for over eight years. When sheís not getting crafty with kids, she loves painting her in studio, hanging with dogs, and discovering new music!
With six years of nannying and babysitting experience, Nara Smith is a seasoned pro. She's passionate about exploring creativity, having fun outdoors, and extending that passion to children. Nara's childcare expertise ranges from infants to preteens. Her patient and positive attitude lends itself to lulling a baby to sleep, while her high energy is a perfect match for older children ready for games, activities, and making new discoveries. Nara is a senior New Media major at the University of North Carolina in Asheville and is pursuing a career within the film industry.
Nicole is currently working on her Master's in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Brenau University. She has worked as a babysitter for the past four years while at Agnes Scott College. Nicole is a big believer in positive reinforcement, and encourages discussion and open communication. She takes an interactive approach to working with kids by encouraging and participating in healthy activities such as reading, drawing, and building together. One of Nicole's most insightful experiences was working as a clinician for the learning center, Lindamood-Bell. During that time she gained a hands-on training in working with kids that have learning and intellectual disabilities. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys reading a good book, completing a page out of a coloring book, and writing. She is excited about meeting your family!
An Atlanta native, Quinn Mabry is best known for their love of outdoor adventures and a passion for teaching. Bringing many years of childcare experience as a family-oriented sitter and camp counselor, Quinn's approach to childcare centers on educational play. From practicing fractions while baking an afternoon snack or learning about plants in the garden, Quinn is passionate about bringing curiosity into every moment. A lifelong learner, Quinn is a graduate of Agnes Scott College (Bachelor of Arts) and Georgia State University (Master of Arts in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies). When they're not hanging around town, Quinn is off adventuring in Appalachia, going for jogs around Decatur, or curled up with a good book and their cat, Misha.
Rebecca has a BA in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a Master's in Marriage and Family from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is currently a preschool teacher in Atlanta and has 20 years of combined childcare experience as both a nanny and teacher. Prior to becoming a preschool teacher, Ms. Rebecca spent several years as a child and family services social worker and homeschool teacher where she found her passion to teach and work with young students. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, trying new restaurants and spending time with her three children.
Renie George is a rising senior at Emory University. She is Pre-Med, majoring in Neuroscience, and working towards becoming a pediatric neurologist. She has years of experience, and a passion for working with kids. She has worked as a Sunday School teacher, working with students from Kindergarten through third grade. She's also a volunteer at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, helping with babies and children from the NICU to teens in the Transplant Unit. She loves the joy children bring, playing games, encouraging educational activities, and can't wait to spend time with yours!
Samantha is a professional childcare giver with a diverse background. She graduated from the University of Central Florida, with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, and has worked with children for over 10 years. Being a former gymnast and current competitive coach, Samantha is active and able to keep up with your children. She encourages outside time and arts and crafts, instead of technology or screen time. She has had experience with infants up through high schoolers, families of twins and triplets, high allergy needs, and even traveled full time as a nanny to a celebrity family in the Georgia area. When not babysitting, she is researching new recipes, reading a new book, or spending time outside with her family.

Growing up, she spent her mornings before school helping out in her mother's Special Needs Pre-K Early Intervention classroom. The oldest of four children, she began babysitting at an early age. Shelby Zimmer is an Atlanta native who has a BA from Agnes Scott and a Master's in Social Work from Georgia State University. She has over 15 years of child care experience as a babysitter, nanny and preschool teacher and currently works as a child welfare case manager. Playing outside, working on crafts and reading books are some of her favorite activities to do with children. Shelby's favorite aspect of working with children and teenagers is getting to know each one's individual personality and learning from them.
Spencer Taylor has been a childcare provider since graduating from Clemson in 2013. She takes pride in getting to know each child's individual personality and catering her care to their temperament. Spencer makes sure that the children she cares for are entertained, enriched, and academically challenged. Originally from Florida, Tatiyana has been involved in childcare most of her life.
